HTC Unveils The One Mini

HTC One Mini
HTC has unveiled the HTC One mini, which is not as powerful as the original HTC One.  The HTC One mini is a 4.3-inch device, 720p resolution, and the same aluminum design as the HTC One. The BoomSound speakers are a bit smaller than the original HTC One.

The buttons and ports are in the same place as the original HTC One with the micro-USB being on the bottom and micro-SIM being on the left.  Volume buttons are on the same side on the right of the phone.  On top of the One mini is a 3.5mm headphone jack and the power button.

The One mini will have Android 4.2.2 out of the box running on Sense 5.0.  It has a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera on the back with BSI f/2.0, 1/3-inch sensor, but no optical image stabilization.  The camera has several different levels of flash intensity and 2 nanometer pixel size.  The front camera has a 1.6-megapixel resolution.  ImageChip 2 is on board and Zoe (slow-mo video capture and Video Highlighting).

Within the One mini is a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.  The HTC One has a quad-core Snapdragon 600 and 2GB of RAM.

The One Mini has a smaller battery at 1,800mAh and there is no NFC.
