Objective Logistics
has raised $5.3 million in Series A funding led by Atlas Venture.  Objective Logistics plans on using the funding to expand MUSE beyond the restaurant industry.  Google Ventures and Next View Ventures participated in this round as well.

MUSE is an employee management system to help motivate workers like waiters and sales staff.  MUSE lists employees on a leader board and then offers rewards based on people at the top.  Managers are also given data on ways to optimize their workforce.

Around nine restaurant chains have signed up to use Objective Logistics thus far across 70 locations.  Clients see around 2-8% a increase in top-line sales along with an increase in customer satisfaction.

“Objective Logistics is truly ushering in the new era of workforce and performance management,” stated 5Napkin Burger Senior VP of Operations. “It provides us with the tools to help employees self-motivate and participate in their own development while improving sales, service and productivity.”
