Open source video media player VLC has come back to the Apple App Store.  VLC allows users to watch almost every video format.  The app was removed from the Apple App Store around two years ago due to open source licensing issues after launching in October 2010.  This licensing issue has been fixed and VLC will be releasing a native app for the iPhone and iPad.  Some of the new features that have been added to VLC includes AirPlay support, subtitles support, video filters, background audio playback, and Dropbox integration.
