Google Translate Adds Handwriting Input Support Across 45 Languages

Google Translate Handwriting
Google Translate has announced that they now support handwriting input across 45 languages.  Now Google Translate lets you translate a written expression even if you do not know how to type it on a keyboard.

Google added handwriting input to Google Translate for Android in December 2012.  Google also updated Google Input tools for the desktop by adding new virtual keyboards earlier this year.

Let’s say that you want to translate the Chinese expression:Screen Shot 2013-07-25 at 10.49.05 AM, but do not know how to type the characters, you can write them out by hand.  You have to pick an input language first and then you will see an input tools icon at the bottom of the text area that you can click on to switch into a handwriting mode.  You can also draw multiple characters at once.
