Heapsylon’s Sensoria Fitness Socks Can Digitally Track Your Exercise
Heapsylon has developed a new type of wearable technology in the form of socks. These socks can actually help you become better at exercising. Based in Redmond, Washington, Heapsylon developed Sensoria with textile sensors that communicates with a Bluetooth anklet.
The anklet and sensors sends your exercise data to your smartphone. On the smartphone, you can use the Sensoria app to view an activity tracker. The socks reports a runner’s steps, distance, speed, and calories. The application can detect where how you stride as well. The socks are washable too.
The company is currently in the midst of crowd-funding the Sensoria fitness product on Indiegogo. The company has raised over $74,000 so far with an $87,000 goal. There are 16 days left to fund the Sensoria.
