Cloud Testing Company SOASTA Raises $30 Million

SOASTA is a company that does cloud testing using web and mobile test automation and monitoring solutions.  The company’s core products are called CloudTest, TouchTest, and mPulse.  SOASTA powers the cloud testing solutions for many large companies like Avaya, American Girl, Bonobos,, Chegg, Experian, Gilt Groupe, Hallmark, Intuit, Microsoft, and Netflix.

SOASTA has announced today that they have raised $30 million in funding from new investors Macquarie Capital and ROTH Capital.  SOASA’s existing investors Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures, and Pelion Venture Partners also participated in this round.  SOASTA will be using the funding to expand globally and increase their marketing, sales, and development resources.
