Goo Technologies is a company that develops HTML5 high-end graphics for games and interactive visualizations on the web.  Goo Technologies is also the company behind the proprietary Goo Engine.

Goo Technologies has announced today that they have secured an undisclosed amount of seed funding to accelerate their expansion.  This round of funding was led by MOOR, which is a Swedish angel investment company owned by Kaj Hed.  Hed is the chairman of MOOR and he is known for being a 70% stakeholder in Rovio Entertainment, the company behind the successful Angry Birds franchise.

“We are excited about working with such an exceptional team and a technology that can bring a disruptive change to the interactive graphics industry,” stated Hed. “Goo is extremely well positioned to be a real HTML5 ecosystem game changer, on any screen.”

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Goo Technologies uses their WebGL rendering solution to easily distribute high-end hardware accelerated 3D and 3D graphics straight into the web browser or on mobile devices.  The Goo Engine can publish advanced games online just like a web page and make them available on any device regardless of physical location.
