Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) Model S Receives Top U.S. Crash Rating

Priced at about $70,000, the Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S received a five-star rating in every safety and crash category. Earlier we reported the star-rating information, but we did not know at the time that the Model S received the highest crash test ratings out of any car. The tests were conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S has the “lowest likelihood of injury to occupants” and even exceeds the performance of SUVs and mini-vans.
