Zendrive Raises $1.5 Million
Zendrive is a company that uses data and insights to empower drivers to make driving-related decisions and to make time spent on the road rewarding experience. Zendrive has raised $1.5 million in a seed round of funding. Investors in this round First Round Capital, Max Levchin, Jerry Yang, and Tim Ferriss.
“No one has done a good job at measuring and pulling insights for road behavior. Surprisingly, this activity we undertake almost every day lies in the dark. Zendrive is going to make this valuable data available for the first time,” stated Zendrive founder Jonathan Matus.
Zendrive is available in the form of a free mobile app that uses your iPhone to sense the acceleration, speed location, and direction to determine how safe you are driving, according to Vator.
