Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has expanded their Supercharger network into a couple more places this past week. This includes the Pacific Northwest of the United States and in various locations across Norway.
Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) announced on August 29th at about 12:50PM that they have opened a supercharger in Woodburn, Oregon. “Rain or shine, Model S owners can now Supercharge for free in Woodburn, Oregon!” said Tesla Motors in a tweet:
Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) wrote a tweet on August 30th that they have opened a Supercharger in Lyngdal, Norway. “Lyngdal Supercharger now open! #EuroSupercharger” said Tesla Motors in a tweet:
This was followed up with an announcement that Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has opened up 6 more Superchargers in Norway on August 30th:
“Finished in Olympic city Lillehammer and broke the record opening 6 Superchargers in Norway today! #EuroSupercharger,” said Tesla Motors in a tweet.
Now 90% of Norwegians live within 320 kilometers of a Supercharger. This is within the Model S 425 kilometer range:
