Motorola Is Shipping 100,000 Moto X Devices Per Week From Texas Facility

Moto X
The Moto X is known for being assembled and customized in the United States, which is what Google emphasized in the marketing on the device.  Reuters has reported that Motorola is shopping around 100,000 Moto X phones per week from their Texas facility.

The Moto X is currently available on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.  The customized models are currently only supported on AT&T.  The 100,000 per week is not really a record, but this is a great number for a new U.S. facility.

The facility is paying workers around $12 to $14 per hour, which is about three times higher than what factory workers earn in China to make phones.
