HP Announces Several New Tablets

Hewlett Packard has announced several new tablets of the Windows and Android variety.  Out of all of them, I would say that the HP Slate 7 Extreme sounds the most interesting.  Below is a list of the specs for each tablet.

HP Slate 7 Extreme

The Slate 7 Extreme is a Tegra 4 tablet that has a pull-out stylus pen, a 5-megapixel camera, and game controller support.  You can plug the tablet into your TV and control the Android operating system from a distance using a Bluetooth controller.  The Slate 7 Extreme also has a 1280×800 screen and will retail for $199.

HP Slate 8 Pro

The HP Slate 8 Pro has a 7.9-inch 1600×1200 display and Tegra 4 processor.

HP Omni 10

The Omni 10 uses Windows, Intel’s Bay Trail processor, a 1080p 10-inch display, 2GB of RAM, up to 128GB of SSD, an 8-megapixel camera, and WiFi.

HP Slate 7 HD

The Slate 7 HD has a 1280×800 7-inch screen, Marvell PXA986 processor with 3G support, front/rear cameras, microSD, and Beats Audio.

HP Slate 10 HD

The Slate 10 HD has a 1280×800 10-inch screen, Marvell PXA986 processor with 3G support, front/rear cameras, and Beats Audio.
