Myhero is a Singapore-based app company that allows people to simulate trades on the stock market without using real money.  Myhero has raised $10 million in Series A funding.  The app that Myhero is known for is called TradeHero.  Investors that have participated in this round include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and IPV Capital.

TradeHero users start with $100,000 in virtual cash and then they can choose how many stocks that they want to buy.  The more you use TradeHero, the more experienced you will get at trading stocks.  This could help when trading on the real stock market.

Myhero generates real revenues by buying more virtual cash so that they can increase their liquidity.  The $10 million Series A round of funding will be used for expanding their marketing presence.

Myhero’s TradeHero has been growing internationally, especially in Thailand, Singapore, India, Mexico, and Vietnam.  Part of the funding will be used for hiring more employees.
