Google Inc (GOOG) Now Letting Developers Submit Glassware For Google Glass’ MyGlass

Google Glass
Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced today that developers can now submit Glassware for review.  By completing the Glassware review process, it will make Glassware apps eligible for showing up on MyGlass and eligible to receive quota beyond the testing limits, according to Google Glass Developer Advocate Timothy Jordan in a Google+ status update.

In the Google+ update, Jordan wrote:

To get started with the submission process, take a look at the new Distributing Glassware section of the documentation (linked below).  Be sure your Glassware meets the basic requirements on the launch checklist. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!

Some of the newest apps that have been added to the Google Glass app store are made by SportsYapper, Fancy, Mashable, KitchMe and Thuuz.

Glassware apps can be submitted through the Google Mirror API Review Request.  To receive additional Mirror API quota and to appear on MyGlass, developers will need to go through the Glassware Review Process.  The process of being approved requires credentials for several aspects of design, usability, privacy, and security to ensure the quality of apps available in the form of Glassware.

I am best known being a good cook and a tech-savvy among my friends. A while ago a friend of mine advised me to watch the video: http://www.glassvideo.tv/announcing-kitchme-with-google-glass/ about the KitchMe app. I really wanna get my hands on this device. Well, it won’t add salt to my dish but at least I can easily get the recipes I want.
