SpaceX Grasshopper Hovers At A High Of 2,441 Feet Before Landing Again
SpaceX’s Grasshopper is a reusable prototype rocket that has hit a new record high. In this video, you will see the rocket rise 744 meters (2,441 feet) before landing again without getting damaged during a test flight on October 7th.
The SpaceX Grasshopper is intended to become a way to lead rockets into outer space and then return back to the launch pad. This could save a lot of money and prevent wastage.
Back in July, SpaceX conducted a test at 1,066 feet and that was successful. In December 2012, they tested it at 130 feet and that went well.
