Usermind Raises $7.6 Million Led By Andreessen Horowitz
Usermind has raised $7.6 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Charles River Ventures and SV Angel. Usermind will be using the funding to hire around 10-15 more employees over the next year to enhance their enterprise software solutions. Usermind aims to help business operations become more productive and efficient through their software.
Usermind was founded this past May by Michel Feaster (CEO) and Przemek Pardyak (CTO). Pardyak sold his previous startup Performant to Mercury Interactive for $22.5 million. Feaster was a product manager at Mercury during the time of the acquisition.
“We invested in Usermind to get access to Michel Feaster’s mind,” stated Andreessen Horowitz’s Ben Horowitz. “Michel is an unparalleled product thinker in the world of enterprise applications. She and Przemek are exactly the right team to revolutionize business operations in the enterprise.”
Usermind’s platform can measure and improve the software trial process with A/B testing. Usermind does not have any customers yet, but their prototype was impressive enough for investors.
