Mark Menacher Sues Apple Because He Was Forced To Upgrade To iOS 7

Mark Menacher had no interest in upgrading his iPhone from iOS 6 to iOS 7.  According to CNET, Menacher filed a lawsuit against Apple in a small claims court asking to let him remove iOS 7 from his iOS devices.

Menacher is upset that the iOS 7 update happened automatically and there was no way of going back.

“Apple’s disregard for customer preferences in relation to iOS7 is corporate thuggery,” stated Menacher. “Steve Jobs was reportedly rough on company employees in pursuit of happy customers, but Tim Cook apparently cultivates a culture of contempt for customer satisfaction in pursuit of corporate profits. It is a policy that will eventually fail.”

Your title is wrong. Menacher is NOT suing Apple because he hates iOS 7. He sued Apple because Apple forced the iOS 7 upgrade on his devices w/o his permission, because it takes up to 3GB of storage on each device, and because Apple refused to provide him with the means of removing this unwanted download.
