“Prism Skylabs is poised to make a real difference at a critical time for brick-and-mortar business,” stated Prism Skylabs founder and chief executive officer Steve Russell. “This round will allow us to expand on our early success and drive continued adoption.”

Prism Skylabs has over 80 customers that range from Fortune 500 retailers, consumer packaged goods companies, malls, and convenience stores.  These businesses use Prism Skylabs for analytics and to provide remote access to users.  Prism Skylabs can also transform any in-store video camera into a visual merchandising, auditing, and business intelligence tool.

Intel Capital President Arvind Sodhani made the funding announcement at the Intel Capital Global Summit yesterday.
