Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has opened a car showroom in the United Kingdom at a shopping mall in London.  The 1,850 square foot outlet opened on Friday at the Westfield White City retail center in Shepherds Bush next to the Diesel and Calvin Klein.

“People can look in casually the first time, come again and ask a question, then come back another time and ask another question,” Jerome Guillen, a sales and service vice president at Tesla in an interview with the Evening Standard.

The Model S has a starting price of $64,000 and they have sold around 13,000 in North America so far.  In Norway, Tesla Motors sold around 800 cars.  Between Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands combined, Tesla sold around 531 vehicles.

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk said that they have a goal of selling 10,000 cars in Germany per year starting in 2015.  The Model S in Germany will be enhanced to support the Autobahn system.  They will also add more charging stations in Germany than any other European country.
