Google Donates 17,000 Nexus Tablets To People Affected By Hurricane Sandy

Google has graciously donated 17,000 Nexus tablets at a total retail value of over $2.7 million to libraries, senior centers, businesses, and community centers in areas that are affected by Hurricane Sandy.  The tablets will be distributed to central locations at those areas.  You can see a list of the locations on this Excel file.  “Private donations like these are critical in aiding local communities in our ongoing recovery. We thank Google for helping New York build back better than before,” stated New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
