Kickstarter CEO Perry Chen Steps Down
Perry Chen (pictured above), the CEO and co-founder of Kickstarter, is stepping down from the role as head of the company. Chen will become the chairman at Kickstarter starting January 1st. This will give him more time to focus on creative projects.
Kickstarter co-founder Yancey Strickler will become the CEO of the company from a previous customer service and communications position. Charles Adler, another co-founder at the company, is leaving his day-to-day role. Kickstarter has hit around 5 million
Earlier this month, Kickstarter hit over 50,000 creative projects funded. Over 5 million people from around the world have backed a project.
