Panasonic Creates World’s First 4K Tablet With A Price Of $6K

Panasonic has created the world’s first 4K tablet.  4K resolution is a term for display devices or content that has horizontal resolution of around 4,000 pixels.  4K has been generally used in digital TVs and digital cinematography.  The Panasonic Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 is the world’s first Ultra HD tablet that has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and has 8.3 megapixels. 

The Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 has a 20-inch LED display, Intel Core i5 vPro processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, 2GB of VRAM, and Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.

The optical natural hand writing pen option has 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity and accuracy.  The tablet has 9.8 million pixels on a 20″ canvas.
