PasswordBox Raises $6 Million
PasswordBox is a Montreal based password management startup that has raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Omers Ventures and several angel investors. A couple of the angel investors include Boku CEO Mark Britto and Facebook commerce lead Lee Linden.
“Thirty percent of Americans believe it would be easier to achieve world peace than to remember all of their online passwords,” stated Dan Robichaud, PasswordBox CEO. “PasswordBox offers a simple and highly secure password management solution. We’ve now reached over one million users, and continue to grow both as a company and team.”
PasswordBox has a free password generation and security service that lets people create better passwords and helps users manage all of their online credentials from a single service. People can manage credentials for up to 25 accounts as part of the free service. They can pay $11.99 per year for a premium service that includes an unlimited number of passwords.
