Google Play Store Launches “Designed For Tablets” Section
Google has created a tablet-optimized app store that will show apps that run better on larger screens. This will help increase visibility for Android tablet app developers. When tablet users open the Google Play Store, they will be shown the “designed for tablets” section by default in the top app lists. The apps that are optimized more for phones will be placed under a “designed for phones” section. Users can switch from the default tablet design view to the normal view in order to see all of the apps.
