Video: Homeless Coder Leo Grand Went On “The Today Show”
Leo Grand is a homeless man in New York City that was given an opportunity to learn how to code from a 23-year-old programmer named Patrick McConlogue. Grand went on “The Today Show” this morning to talk about the app he created.
Grand and McConlogue met this past August and the two of them worked every weekday morning for an hour to work on the app that focuses on clean energy and climate change. Grand has a passionate interest in that subject.
Grand and McConlogue both talked to “The Today Show” anchor Savannah Guthrie. Guthrie asked Grand about how he felt when McConlogue approached him. Grand was skeptical at first, but he is glad that he took on the opportunity.
