Connected Home Startup Revolv Raises $4 Million

Revolv is a Boulder, Colorado based connected home startup that has raised $4 million in funding.  This round of funding was led by The Foundry Group.  American Family Insurance and several other existing investors participated in this round and Revolv raised a total of $6.7 million. 

Revolv has created a device that works with several different radio protocols used inside home automation gear.

Revolv has an app that lets users control their devices, such as Sonos music systems and Hue light bulbs.  Revolv supports conditional rules so that different devices can be activated at certain times.

Revolv plans on using the funding for hiring more employees and add support for more devices.
