Zalora has raised $112 million in a new round of funding, which is the largest single investment made in a Southeast Asian online fashion company. This round of funding was led by Access Industries. Zalora took that record from themselves as they raised $100 million in a round of funding from earlier this year. Zalora is considered a “Zappos clone” that is based in Southeast Asia and funded by Rocket Internet. Zalora is known for selling over 130,000 fashion and beauty products from 500 brands across the globe. The company sells products in Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. Zalora plans on using the funding for adding new brands to their inventory and expanding their global footprint.
