Palantir raises $58 million out of $100 million round target
Palantir has raised $58 million out of a $100 million round target. The $100 million round would value the company at $9 billion. Forbes reports that the investors are unknown for the current round.
My guess is that it would likely include some of the company’s previous investors like In-Q-Tel, Tiger Global, and Founders Fund. Palantir is a startup founded in 2004 by several PayPal alumni and Stanford computer scientists.
Palantir has doubled in size every year. Based in Palo Alto, California, Palantir helps protect companies from cyber attacks by analyzing big data. This article was written by Amit Chowdhry. You can follow me at @amitchowdhry or on Google+ at +AmitChowdhry
