Google has released the Android Device Manager app on Google Play. The service was announced back in August, but it was browser-based at the time. You can now download the app from Google Play. The app works similar to the way that the Apple Find My iPhone does. If you lose your Android device, you can use this app to find it on a map. You can also see when it was last located and when it was last used. You can use the app to ring the device as well as wiping and locking it.
