Apple Mac Pro to start selling on December 19th with starting price of $2,999

Apple has announced that the new Mac Pro computer will be available for sale starting tomorrow. The new Mac Pro has a unique design that resembles a black tube. It will be available for sale starting tomorrow (Thursday, December 19th) at a starting price of $2,999. There is another version of the Mac Pro with higher specs available for $3,999. You will be able to order the Mac Pro through Apple.com or pick one up through Apple retail stores.
The $2,999 version of the Mac Pro has a 3.7GHz quad-core Intel Xeon E5 processor, 2 AMD FirePro D500 workstation GPUs at 2GB of dedicated RAM per unit, 12GB RAM, and 256 flash storage module. The $3,999 version of the Mac Pro has 3.5GHz six-core,3GB of dedicated RAM to each of those workstation GPUs, 16GB of memory, and 256GB of flash storage. The custom configurations has either 8 or 12 core processor, AMD FirePro D700 GPUs with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of memory, and 1TB of flash storage.
Apple first announced the new Mac Pro back in June at the annual Worldwide Developer’s Conference. The computer is assembled in the U.S. and is much smaller than previous versions of the Mac Pro.
