CyanogenMod raises $23 million in funding
CyanogenMod has raised $23 million in funding from Andreessen Horowitz and Tencent. CyanogenMod will be using the funding to hire additional talent and become a serious player in the Android market. CyanogenMod recently built their own smartphone called the Oppo N1, which has been certified by Google and is going to start selling on December 24th. Peter Levine of Andreessen Horowitz is joining the board of directors at CyanogenMod. CyanogenMod currently has 11 million active users.
