Alcatel launches the One Touch Idol X+, Touch Pop C9, Touch Pop 7, Touch Pop 8, and Idol Mini
Alcatel has announced several new products at CES 2014. The products include the One Touch Idol X+, Touch Pop C9, Touch Pop 7, Touch Pop 8, and Idol Mini.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X+
The Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ has MediaTek’s octa-core processor that is clocked at 2GHz. The One Touch Idol X+ has a 1080p 5-inch display, 13.1-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. There is 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for expansion. It has a 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2. The One Touch Idol X+ is going to sell in China for $330.
Alcatel One Touch Pop C9
The Alcatel One Touch Pop C9 has a 5.5-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, qHD at a resolution of 540×960 pixels, 8-megapixel camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. There is internal storage of 4GB, but you can expand storage to 32GB. There is a 2500mAh battery.
Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 and Pop 8
Alcatel has announced the One Touch Pop 7 and One Touch Pop 8 tablets. Both of them run on Android 4.2. The Pop 7 is a 7-inch WSVGA display, 1024×600 pixels, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 32GB microSD card slot, 2-megapixel rear camera / 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Pop 8 has a 1.3GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The internal storage is 4GB and microSD cards support up to 64GB. The 8-inch display on the Pop 8 has a resolution at 1280×800.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X and Idol Mini
The Alcatel One Touch Idol X and Idol Mini is being released in Canada. The two phones will be available on Bell and Virgin Mobile Canada in the next couple weeks. The Idol X is 6.9mm thin and has a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The Idol X has a 5-inch 1080p display, 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.2 operating system. The Idol Mini has a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, and Android 4.2 operating system.
