HP may be launching a low cost smartphone next week

Hewlett Packard is going to release a low-priced Android smartphone next week, according to 9to5 Google. The device is expected to cost around $200 and is designed for prepaid markets. In the past, Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman acknowledged the importance of offering a smartphone in many countries of the world because it could be the first computing device for many individuals.
