J.J. Abrams (pictured above) has confirmed that the script for the new Star Wars movie is complete and the filming will begin in May.

“We have our script and we’re full steam ahead. Have script, will travel,” said Abrams in an interview with USA Today.

Abrams did not reveal any details about the plot or the casting of Star Wars: Episode VII. He co-wrote the script with Lawrence Kasdan (Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi).

Abrams will be filming the movie in England. Episode VII is expected to arrive on December 18, 2015. It will be the first Star Wars film released ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion in 2012.
