TeamSnap raises $7.5 million in Series B
TeamSnap is a service that is used for managing your sports team online. The company has raised $7.5 million in Series B funding led by Foundry Group with participation from existing investors Torstar, Trinity Ventures, Toba Capital and Harris Barton.
“The fast pace of our organic growth shows that people really want to manage and simplify how they manage their sports teams, activities and interests,” said David DuPont, CEO, TeamSnap. “Having this new investment and Foundry Group on board as a partner allows us to accelerate our growth and keep innovating our product in exciting ways.”
TeamSnap went from 1 million to 5 million customers in the last 2.5 years. Over 60% of these customers use TeamSnap’s mobile app for scheduling games and checking player availability.
