Apartment List has raised $6 million in funding
Apartment List is a startup that aims to help users find a good apartment. Apartment List has raised $6 million in follow-on funding led by Glynn Capital and Passport Capital. This is on top of the $15 million that the company raised in funding a few months ago led by Matrix Partners.
The other investors that participated in the follow-on round include Rothenberg Ventures, Sam Shank, Scott Stanford, Shervin Pishevar, Rony Kahan, Rick Marini, Ethan Anderson, Aayush Phumbhra, and Lee Linden.
Apartment List saw 2.2 million visitors lost month and wants to increase that number to 5 million by the end of the year. Around 65% of the visitors in January came from mobile devices.
The Apartment List mobile app can be used for finding apartments and finding roommates. It enables users to directly connect with landlords and property managers as well.
