HTC has agreed to pay Nokia in order to settle patent lawsuit
HTC and Nokia have announced that they have settled their lawsuits following a few court cases. HTC was found to have infringed Nokia’s patents in court rulings.
HTC will be paying Nokia to make a settlement, but the amount was undisclosed.
“We are very pleased to have reached a settlement and collaboration agreement with HTC, which is a longstanding licensee for Nokia’s standards essential patents,” stated Nokia chief intellectual property officer Paul Melin.
