iSocket receives $5 million in funding
iSocket is a service that sells ads on behalf of brands and publishers. The company has raised $5 million in a new round of funding led by Time Warner Investments with participation from Condé Nast, R&R Venture Partners, and Vivi Nevo.
iSocket enables direct relationships with advertisers. Generally direct sales requires up to 50 steps to complete a deal, but iSocket for Publishers automates this process.
“We’re very pleased to have Time Warner and Condé Nast, two of the biggest names in publishing, endorsing our model for advertising sales automation,” stated CEO Richard Jalichandra in a statement. Jalichandra used to be the CEO of Technorati.
iSocket also announced iSocket for Advertisers, which is an ad-buying tool for agencies and brands.
