Supercell generated around $892 million in 2013 revenues
Supercell, the company behind Clash of Clans, hit around $892 million in 2013 revenues on pretax profits of $464 million. This is four times the profit and eight times the revenue compared to 2012.
Based in Helsinki, Finland, Supercell reported the figures based on an annual basis. Supercell received a government loan when they launched in 2010. Supercell only makes two games, Clash of Clans and Hay Day.
Supercell paid $345 million in taxes in 2013. Supercell received $1.5 billion in funding from Japanese telecommunications company SoftBank for 50% equity. Supercell is releasing their third game in March called Boom Beach, which was released in Canada and Australia.
