Front Desk receives $4 million in Series A funding

Front Desk is a software-as-a-service that has raised $4 million in Series A funding. This round of funding was led by Floodgate with participation from existing investors Second Avenue Partners, Version One Ventures, and Expedia founder/Zillow co-founder Rich Barton.

Front Desk has raised a total of $7.2 million. Floodgate’s Mike Maples, Jr. and Version One Ventures’ Boris Wertz will be joining the Front Desk board of directors.

Front Desk launched less than a year ago and focuses on personal services like gyms, tour operators, music schools, tutoring centers, etc. The company works with around 1,000 businesses in 20 countries on their platform.
