Sesame Street creates a ‘Flappy Bird’ parody called ‘Flappy Bert’
Sesame Street has created a Flappy Bird parody game called Flappy Bert based on the famous character that is BFFs with Ernie. Players guide Flappy Bert through pipes just like the original Flappy Bird game.
Flappy Bird was removed from the Apple App Store this past weekend after Dong Nguyen said that the game was too addictive and claim that the success ruined his simple life.
Rock band Fall Out Boy has released a version of the app of their own. “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but this game was,” said the band on their website.
Flappy Bird was downloaded over 50 million times and it is the most popular mobile game so far. Around the time that the game was taken down, he was making over $50,000 per day in ad revenue.
