Siemens launches a $100 million venture fund

Siemens has launched a new $100 million venture firm called Siemens Venture Capital for investing in early-stage startups that are focused on industrial automation and digital technologies. 


“Our goal is to identify and finance young companies worldwide during their start-up phase and to provide established companies with additional capital for their growth plans during the expansion phase. Through our portfolio companies, we offer our customers new tech-nological solutions and tap new markets. Our focus is on growth segments in the energy, industry and healthcare sectors,” says Siemens Venture Capital on their website.
