Microsoft and DocuSign have partnered to bring electronic signatures to Office 365
Microsoft Corporation has partnered with DocuSign as part of a long-term partnership that will bring e-signatures to Office 365 subscribers. This would make it easier for Office 365 to submit and sign documents without leaving the Microsoft Office apps. The new service will be available in the Office Store next month.
The service will be available to Outlook, Word, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint Server 2013. SharePoint administrators would be able to add the service remotely to users. It will also be integrated with the Azure Active Directory so that you will not need a separate sign-in to use DocuSign within Microsoft applications.
“Leading partners like DocuSign are building apps on the Office platform to help our customers get more value directly from their most highly used applications,” stated John Case, the vice president of marketing for Microsoft Office.
