Nok Nok Labs receives $16.5 million in Series B funding
Nok Nok Labs has received $16.5 million in Series B funding. Investors in this round include Lenovo, DCM, and ONSET Ventures. Lenovo’s George He will be joining the board of directors at Nok Nok Labs. Nok Nok is a provider of online authentication solutions.
“The announcement of this round is perfectly timed to help us accelerate our work to bring to the market the FIDO Alliance’s vision of a unified and standard online authentication environment,” stated Phillip Dunkelberger, president and CEO of Nok Nok Labs. “We’re very excited to be working more closely with Lenovo as a strategic partner given the rapid expansion of mobile devices and services in the Chinese market and Lenovo’s global reach.”
Nok Nok Labs is backed by a team of security industry veterans that worked at PGP, Netscape, Oracle, PayPal and Phoenix. Nok Nok enables end-to-end trust across the web with authentication methods that are natural to end users and can be used to provide a strong proof of identity.
