Zumper raises $6.5 million in Series A
Zumper is a real estate startup that has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Zumper is an app that apartment hunters use for finding a new place to live.
Zumper offers tools for brokers and property managers to simplify how they manage listings by offering mobile and web apps to post and update apartments that are available for renting. Users can create listings, take photos, and add details from the properties through their mobile phones.
This reduces the amount of time traveling back and forth to the office. Zumper launched in New York City and San Francisco initially. The company also expanded to Chicago last February.
