DocuSign raises $85 million in funding
Electronic signature company DocuSign has raised $85 million in funding from institutional investors at a valuation of $1.6 billion, according to sources with The WSJ. DocuSign has raised a total of over $100 million in venture capital and is planning to open several new offices abroad while adding hundreds of new employees. The company doubled their employee count to 650 people last year. DocuSign has plans to eventually go public, but it is unknown when that will happen.
