Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has announced its first app for sellers called Amazon Sellers. The new app provides tools to sellers for managing accounts and interacting with customers. The app can be used for tracking prices and creating sales listings. Sellers can track sales ranks, customer reviews, and can search for new items to sell.

There is a profit estimation tool to track the profit of each item sold by subtracting the associated fees and costs from the sales amount. Sellers can scan an item’s barcode or manually search for items in the app. Sellers generally have been using third party apps for managing their accounts.

By using this app, third parties will not have access to a merchant’s sales and profits. It is unknown if Amazon.com will release an Android version or if the iOS app will be available to merchants outside of the U.S. You can download the app from here.
