Hewlett-Packard Company has announced the HP 8 1401. The HP 8 is an Android-based tablet that has a low price of $169.99. The HP 8 measures at 7.8 x 5.3 x 0.31 inches and weighs 0.69 pounds. The resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels (163 pixels per inch). The HP 8 has a quad-core chip from Allwinner and 1GB of RAM. It also has 16GB of storage and a microSD card slot that is expandable up to 32GB with a battery that is 3800 mAh. The tablet is WiFi only and connects through 802.11b/g/n.     The configuration is not impressive at all. It is lower than almost any other Android devices and it is much lower than iPads and Windows based tablets. The screen resolution and amount of RAM are terrible.
