Adbrain raises $7.5 million in Series A funding
Adbrain is an online ad company that has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding led by Octopus Investments with participation from Notion Capital. Adbrain launched a programmatic mobile audience platform in private beta last month with agency partners like M&C Saatchi Mobile, Fetch, and Somo.
“Adbrain has won the backing of investors and advertisers by creating a truly transparent advertising platform in an industry accustomed to black-box and managed-service solutions,” stated Adbrain CEO Gareth Davies. “By effectively responding to consumers’ new multi-screen habits and the rapid spread of connected devices, we are defining the future of advertising.
Adbrain will be using the funding to accelerate expansion in the U.S. and Europe. It will also be used for hiring engineering, big data, and A.I. talent.
