Expa raises $50 million in funding
You may know Garrett Camp as the founder of StumbleUpon and Uber. Now he is launching a startup studio called Expa and it has raised $50 million in funding from investors like Virgin founder Richard Branson, HP CEO Meg Whitman, Google board member Ram Shriram, Tim Ferriss, Li Ka-shing, First Round Capital, Lerer Ventures, WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg, Sherpa Ventures, Booking.com Chairman Kees Koolen, SV Angel, and Behance founder Scott Belsky. Expa will work from founders from inception to product-market. Expa will invest between $500,000 and $1 million per business. There is around 20 people working on Expa.
